The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render services to the community.

SASSA is going to be rendering solutions like new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency reported it truly is alarmed regarding the high variety of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The goal with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a substantial range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no absolutely functional office dedicated to service the area each day. The assistance position produced here for intervention encounters a large inflow of probable beneficiaries, which makes it complicated to the office to attend to all people who visit a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra methods to empower the servicing of all consumers and boost access to Social Assistance products and services,” the agency said.
